Ellen (Karolina Sophia) Key


Reformer and educationist, born in Sundsholm, Sweden. She became a teacher in Stockholm (1880–99) when her father lost his fortune. She made her name as a writer with advanced liberal ideas on the feminist movement, child welfare, sex, love, and marriage, in Barnets århundrade (1900, The Century of the Child).
