Nellie (Letitia) McClung - Recognition

Suffragist, writer, and public speaker, born in Chatsworth, Ontario, SE Canada. Educated in Manitoba, she rose to prominence through the Women's Christian Temperance Union and the suffrage movement, and was elected to the Alberta Legislative Assembly (1921–6).
