anechoic chamber - The Radio Frequency Anechoic Chamber

A room or chamber in which all walls and surfaces are lined with a sound-absorbing material to minimize reflected sound; also called a dead room. A sound produced in such a chamber will have no echo. It is important in acoustic experiments in which reflected sound would confuse results.
